Hello, my fellow residents.

I’m Joseph Sancimino.

I aim to work for all the county residents.

I don’t owe anybody anything, I won’t hire my relatives, and my only goal is the betterment of Arenac County.

I welcome your thoughts. I think that much good could be accomplished by using the residents to participate to achieve community goals and I hope my interests are the same as yours. However, many residents are put off by the same old politics.

A new atmosphere and attitude is needed in the County Commission to make Arenac County a better place to live. The old ways aren’t working anymore. It’s time for a change. Change could mean progress and don’t we all want that.

Change is good.

If you sincerely want things to get better than I ask, vote for me.

1.     Institute a BUY ARENAC Program for all county operations and encourage all residents to do the same.

2.     End the paid committee system that has few benefits and many disadvantages, which is currently being used to manipulate proceedings and promote personal agenda’s.

3.     Install a video record keeping system so as to provide safety and end bickering, waffling, grandstanding, and record manipulation.

4.     Rework Arenac County Website to be more informative, complementary, and attractive to visitors using volunteers in order to better promote the county for tourism and business.

5.     Organize volunteer committee to develop future county goals such as business applications of new energy technologies such as corn, sugar beets, and wind farms and take advantage of grant funds currently available to promote energy development programs.

6.     Change Dial A Ride to be more responsive to seniors by using on-demand calls in bad weather.

7.     Institute a Rental Code in Arenac County for the safety of resident renters.

8.     Organize volunteer ombudsman citizen committee to help residents deal with county offices.

9.     Organize a volunteer committee to explore the daylily flower roadway beautification, a county bike/walk trail, and traffic lights at Glen’s and at Grove/23 Mile Rd.
